Transilien Line H
Transilien Paris-Nord is one of the sectors in the Paris Transilien suburban rail network. The trains on this sector depart from Gare du Nord in central Paris, and serve the north-west and north-east of Île-de-France region with Transilien lines H and K. Transilien services from Gare du Nord are part of the SNCF Gare du Nord rail network. Line H The trains on Line H travel between Gare du Nord in Paris and the north-west of Île-de-France region, with termini in Luzarches, Pontoise, Persan–Beaumont and Creil. Transilien
Transilien () is the brand name given to the commuter rail and tram-train network operated by SNCF and serving Île-de-France, the region surrounding and including the city of Paris. The network consists of lines Transilien Line H, H, Transilien Line J, J, Transilien Line K, K, Transilien Line L, L, Transilien Line N, N, Transilien Line P, P, Transilien Line R, R, Transilien Line U, U and Transilien Line V, V that begin and end in major Parisian stations, except for lines U and V which connect major stations outside the Paris city borders. The network also includes the Réseau Express Régional, RER, the trains that cross the centre. The Transilien brand was established on 20 September 1999 as a way to unify the suburban network that existed since the late nineteenth century. The station was opened on July 11, 1846, by the Compagnie des chemins de fer du Nord, Compagnie du Nord. Trains from Paris to Lille and the Belgian border stopped at the station twice every hour.
