Transelectrica
Transelectrica is an electricity transmission system operator in Romania. It is publicly traded company with 58,69% of the shares being held by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, 13,5% by Fondul Proprietatea, and 27,81% being floated on the Bucharest Stock Exchange or held by other investors. It is listed at the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Transelectrica is organized in eight territorial transmission branches and one more branch acting as a metering operator for the electricity traded on the wholesale market. Transelectrica also has subsidiaries that take care of different administration tasks. Bucharest Stock Exchange
The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) (Romanian: ''Bursa de Valori București'') is the stock exchange of Romania located in Bucharest. In 2019, the capitalization of BVB increased 23.4% compared to the previous year, to the value of EUR 37.8 billion. At the end of 2019 there were 83 companies listed on the BVB. The capitalization of the Romanian capital market in relation to GDP was of 17.9% at the end of 2019. That same year, the stock exchange indices reached their highest level in the past 10 years. The BET index went up 35% and the BET-TR rose more rapidly, by 47%, against the dividends distributed by the companies. At 31 December 2019, the most liquid company within the BVB’s main (Regular) market was Banca Transilvania (TLV), which owns approximately 30% of the total traded value. Fondul Proprietatea
Fondul Proprietatea is a joint-stock company established by the Romanian state, and is intended to become entirely private and independent from the state. Its specificity lies in the fact that its purpose and its operations are governed by special legislation. Shareholders are limited to those dispossessed owners of their property by the Romanian state during the Communist regime. Origin Romania is a country of the former Eastern Soviet bloc where a very large number of properties (factories, enterprises, houses, apartments, buildings, churches and lands) were confiscated during the Communist Romania era. The state would appropriate illegally, using abusive decrees, the most important being decree nr 92 of 1950, or by means of coercion, more than 400,000 buildings out of which more than 150,000 have been destroyed. Hunedoara County () is a county (''județ'') of Romania, in Transylvania, with its capital city at Deva. The county is part of the Danube–Criș–Mureș–Tisa Euroregion. Caraș-Severin () is a county (județ) of Romania on the border with Serbia. The majority of its territory lies within the historical region of Banat, with a few northeastern villages considered part of Transylvania. The county seat is Reșița.
