Trịnh Mai Trang (born 1986 in Hanoi) known as Trang Trịnh, is a Vietnamese pianist. Trang Trinh started musical training aged 4 in Hanoi. She moved to England to study and later graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, London with distinction in 2010 and made her debut in Hanoi Opera House - a concert titled "Piano's Journal" or "Piano's Diary". This concert was particularly noted because of her using other media form (video, voice-over, photography) in her piano creative piano recital. Edward Gardner (conductor)
Edward Gardner (born 22 November 1974) is an English conductor. While still studying at the Royal Academy of Music in the late 1990s, he began his professional career as a choral conductor and repetiteur. Among other early posts, he was music director of Glyndebourne Festival Opera#Glyndebourne on Tour, Glyndebourne on Tour from 2004 to 2007. Gardner was music director of English National Opera from 2007 to 2015. From 2010 to 2016, he was principal guest conductor of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and since 2013, he has been principal guest conductor of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2021, he has been principal conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Sterndale Bennett
Sir William Sterndale Bennett (13 April 18161 February 1875) was an English composer, pianist, conductor and music educator. At the age of ten Bennett was admitted to the London Royal Academy of Music (RAM), where he remained for ten years. By the age of twenty, he had begun to make a reputation as a concert pianist, and his compositions received high praise. Among those impressed by Bennett was the German composer Felix Mendelssohn, who invited him to Leipzig. There Bennett became friendly with Robert Schumann, who shared Mendelssohn's admiration for his compositions. Bennett spent three winters composing and performing in Leipzig. In 1837 Bennett began to teach at the RAM, with which he was associated for most of the rest of his life. For twenty years he taught there, later also teaching at Queen's College, London.
