Tramp (band)
Tramp were a British blues band, active during the late 1960s and early 1970s on an intermittent basis. This on/off activity and the loose, transient nature of the band's line-up were reflected in the group's name. The line-up centred on the brother–sister pairing of Dave Kelly and Jo Ann Kelly, and included various members of Fleetwood Mac, plus various session musicians. The band released two albums, ''Tramp'' in 1969, and ''Put A Record On'' in 1974. All members participated in many other projects before, after and even during their time with Tramp. Blues
Blues is a music genre and musical form that originated among African Americans in the Deep South of the United States around the 1860s. Dave Kelly (musician)
David William Kelly (born 13 March 1947) is a British blues singer, guitarist and composer, who has been active on the British blues music scene since the 1960s. He has performed with the John Dummer Blues Band, Tramp, the Blues Band, and his own Dave Kelly Band. He is a disciple of Mississippi Fred McDowell. Family His sister Jo Ann Kelly was also a blues singer, and she and Dave participated in many musical projects together. Jo Ann Kelly
Jo Ann Kelly (5 January 1944 – 21 October 1990) was an English people, English blues singer and guitarist. She is respected for her strong blues vocal style and for playing country blues guitar. Early life Kelly was born in Streatham, South London, England on 5 January 1944. She had two younger siblings, Susan and Dave. Her early interest in performing music grew out of hearing the Everly Brothers, Elvis Presley, Little Richard and Skiffle#Revival in the United Kingdom, skiffle in the late 1950s. She learned three or four guitar chords from her brother, Dave Kelly (musician), Dave Kelly. Fleetwood Mac are a British-American Rock music, rock band formed in London in 1967 by the singer and guitarist Peter Green (musician), Peter Green. Green named the band by combining the surnames of the drummer, Mick Fleetwood, and the bassist, John McVie, who have remained with the band throughout its many line-up changes. Bob Brunning
Robert Brunning (29 June 1943 – 18 October 2011) was a British musician and writer who was the original bass guitar player with the blues rock band Fleetwood Mac. Career Fleetwood Mac When Peter Green left the Bluesbreakers in 1967, he decided to form his own group, naming it Fleetwood Mac after the rhythm section he wanted for the band – Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. Fleetwood joined up straight away, and slide guitar player Jeremy Spencer was recruited, but McVie preferred to stay with the Bluesbreakers, where he was earning a regular wage. In the meantime, Green hired Brunning on a temporary basis, hoping that McVie would change his mind. During this period, Brunning played with Fleetwood Mac at the Windsor Jazz and Blues Festival. After a few weeks, McVie changed his mind, claiming that Bluesbreakers leader John Mayall was turning too far in the direction of jazz for his liking; hence, McVie joined, and Brunning stood down. Mick Fleetwood
Michael John Kells Fleetwood (born 24 June 1947) is a British musician, songwriter and actor. He is the drummer, co-founder, and leader of the rock band Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood, whose surname was merged with that of the group's bassist John McVie, John "Mac" McVie (the only two members to appear on every studio album during the band's run) to form the name of the band, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Fleetwood Mac in 1998. Danny Kirwan
Daniel David Kirwan (né Langran, 13 May 1950 – 8 June 2018) was a British musician and guitarist, singer and songwriter with the blues rock, blues-rock band Fleetwood Mac between 1968 and 1972. He released three albums as a solo artist from 1975 to 1979, recorded albums with Otis Spann, Chris Youlden, and Tramp (band), Tramp, and worked with former Fleetwood Mac colleagues Jeremy Spencer and Christine McVie on some of their solo projects. Bob Hall (boogie-woogie Pianist)
Robert 'Bob' Hall (born 13 June 1942) is an English boogie-woogie pianist. A long-time collaborator of Alexis Korner, he also performed regularly with bottleneck bluesman Dave Kelly and his sister, Jo Ann Kelly.
