Angelo Traina
Angelo Benedetto Traina (January 22, 1889 - November 4, 1971) was a biblical scholar, best known for his emphasis on what he called restoring "Semitic proper names to their Aramaic and Hebrew forms". Life Traina was born in Sicily into a Catholic family. They later moved to New York City, where he left home at the age of 13, ending up in Buffalo. Part of a group of drinking and gambling youths, he was part of a conspiracy to disrupt a revival meeting, but instead converted, joining a Protestant church. He later worked for Aimee Semple McPherson. He credited the Millerism movement, a group that stressed keeping the sabbath, as an influence in his life. His biblical studies resulted in placing a special emphasis on the Hebrew form of God's name. This led to him translating ''The Sacred Name New Testament'' (1950), with C. O. Geraldine Traina (June 27, 1936 – April 28, 2011), also known as Gerri Traina, was an American feminist. She co-founded and edited ''Quest: A Feminist Quarterly'', ran the Washington Area Women's Center in 1973, and helped to establish the Washington Area Women's Fund and the Washington Area Feminist Federal Credit Union. Jaclyn "Jackie" Traina (born November 5, 1991) is an American former collegiate four-time All-American softball pitcher. Career She attended Naples High School in the city. She later attended the University of Alabama, where she was a starting pitcher for the Alabama Crimson Tide softball team in the Southeastern Conference, leading them to the 2012 Women's College World Series title. John Traina
John Peter Traina is a retired American soccer player who spent most of his career playing in the St. Louis, Missouri leagues from 1950 to 1960. Traina earned five caps with the U.S. national team. He was inducted into the St Louis Hall Of fame in 1983, together with his brother Peter. Club career During his career, Traina played either defense or defensive midfielder. Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, Traina joined the SECO Boys Club. In 1951, SECO won the National Youth Challenge Cup, also known as the McGuire Cup. In 1951, he also signed with St. Louis Simpkins-Ford of the St. Louis Major League (SLML). Nick Traina
Nick Traina (born Nicholas John Steel Toth; May 1, 1978 – September 20, 1997) was the lead singer for the punk band Link 80. Life Traina was the son of Danielle Steel and William George Toth. Traina died by suicide by overdosing on lithium at the age of 19. Career Traina started his first band, ''Shanker'', at age 13 with Max Leavitt. He joined Link 80 at age 16 and played with them for three years, touring extensively. After leaving Link 80 in August 1997, Traina formed a new band called Knowledge and recorded a demo with them that has since been released on Asian Man Records.
