Toño Bicicleta
Francisco Antonio García López (July 19, 1943 – November 29, 1995), also known as ''Toño Bicicleta'' (literally, "Tony Bicycle" in English language, English), was a Puerto Ricans, Puerto Rican criminal who gained notoriety for escaping from prison several times. García López managed to become part of Puerto Rican folklore and the object of constant references in popular culture. His escapes became legendary in Puerto Rico. Christian Estremera Ramos, known as Temperamento, is a Puerto Rican born Rap artist living in Providence, Rhode Island. Early years Temperamento was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. At the age of 10 after the suicide of his father, Temperamento and his family moved to Providence, Rhode Island. Early music career Temperamento began writing rap songs in 1999. In 2005 Temperamento met Caracas Nel, a Venezuelan living in Rhode Island that would eventually become his music manager. Tegui Calderón Rosario (born February 1, 1972) is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and actor. He began his musical career in 1996 (as Tego Tec) and was supported by the famous Puerto Rican rapper Eddie Dee, who invited him on his second studio album, ''El Terrorista De La Lírica'', released in 2000. Calle 13 is a Puerto Rican alternative hip-hop band formed by stepbrothers Residente (lead vocalist, songwriter) and Visitante ( multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, beat producer), along with their half-sister iLe, also known as PG-13 (backing vocals). Pérez and Cabra first were discovered by Elias De Leon. They were subsequently given a record deal with White Lion Records after leaving a demo with A&R Director Carlos "Karly" Rosario. After the song " Querido FBI" was released, the group gained attention in Puerto Rico. Puya (band)
Puya is a Puerto Rican progressive metal band. Formed in 1991, the band rose to prominence with their fusion of jazz, salsa and heavy metal. History The band originally formed in Puerto Rico as a progressive rock combo, in 1991, under the name Whisker Biscuit. In 1992, the band added vocalist Sergio Curbelo and moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they created a mix of salsa and heavy metal with the assistance of Jeff Renza and the Noiz Boiz production studio. They adopted the name Puya in 1994, which is Spanish for "sharp point", but is also a popular type of Puerto Rican coffee.
