Attractiepark Toverland is an amusement park located in Sevenum, the Netherlands. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a zoological theme park at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando. A log flume or lumber flume is a watertight flume constructed to transport lumber and logs down mountainous terrain using flowing water. A jengu (pl. miengu, also called bisima) is a water spirit in the traditional beliefs of the Sawabantu groups of Cameroon, like the Duala, Bakweri, Malimba, Subu, Bakoko, Oroko people. Among the Bakweri, the term used is liengu (plural: maengu). Miengu are similar to bisimbi (singular: simbi) in the Bakongo spirituality and Mami Wata, who is present in many West and Central African cultures. River Rapids Ride
A river rapids ride (or river rafting ride) is an amusement ride that simulates whitewater rafting. History The river rapids ride concept was proposed by Bill Crandall (general manager of Six Flags AstroWorld, AstroWorld in Houston) and developed by Intamin. AstroWorld introduced the world's first river rapids ride, Thunder River (ride), Thunder River, in 1980 and popularized a concept which can now be found at most major amusement parks. Despite being an incredibly popular attraction, AstroWorld's Thunder River (being a prototype) was initially plagued by issues that were corrected in the first few seasons of operation. Fēnix is a steel Wing coaster located at Toverland in Sevenum, the Netherlands. It is a Wing Coaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard. The attraction opened on 7 July 2018. Fēnix is as part of Avalon, a new area with a theme based on Celtic legends. It was also the first Wing Coaster in the Netherlands.
