Toty (Brazilian Footballer)
Christofoly Acioly da Silva (born 2 April 1991), better known as Toty, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right back and right wingback for Santa Cruz. Career Right back and right wingback, Toty stands out for his ability to support the attack. He was revealed by Sport Recife and played for several clubs in the northeast region of Brazil. In 2019, in Cuiabá, he was part of the winning squads of the Copa Verde and state league. Since 2021 he has been at Brusque FC. Signed with Santa Cruz for 2024 season. Brusque Futebol Clube, commonly referred to as Brusque, is a Brazilian professional club based in Brusque, Santa Catarina founded on 12 October 1987. History The club was founded on October 12, 1987, after Paysandu-SC and Carlos Renaux fused. The club competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C in 1988, being eliminated in the second stage. In 1989, Brusque competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, when the club was eliminated in the first stage. In 1992, Brusque won the Campeonato Catarinense, and the Copa Santa Catarina for the first time. 2022 Campeonato Catarinense
The 2022 Campeonato Catarinense (officially the Catarinense Fort Atacadista 2022 for sponsorship reasons) was the 97th season of Santa Catarina's top-flight football league organized by FCF. The season began on 22 January and ended on 2 April 2022. Avaí were the defending champions but were eliminated in the quarter-finals. The finals were played between Brusque and Camboriú. Tied 1–1 on aggregate, Brusque won their second title due to having a better performance in the first stage. Format The tournament was contested between 12 teams, who first played in a single round-robin tournament. In the first stage, the bottom two teams were relegated to next year's Série B. The Campeonato Catarinense de Futebol, known as Campeonato Catarinense or simply Catarinense, is the main competition of association football from state of Santa Catarina, in Brazil. History The Campeonato Catarinense top level has had several different names since it started. From its first edition, in 1924, to 1985, it was called just Campeonato Catarinense (Santa Catarina Championship).
