Torsten And Wanja Söderberg Prize
The Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize is awarded annually to "an active Nordic designer or craftsman". The prize is administered by the Röhsska Museum and is worth 1 million SEK. The money comes from the foundation established by the brothers Torsten Söderberg, Torsten and Ragnar Söderberg, founders of the Swedish iron and steel wholesale company Söderberg and Haak. Röhsska Museum
The Röhsska Museum (, earlier named ''Röhsska konstslöjdsmuseet'', also known as Design Museum), is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is a museum focused on design, fashion and applied arts. The museum collection consists of over 50,000 objects. The majority of the collection consists of handicraft and design products from Sweden and Europe and arts and crafts from Japan and China. The museum also holds a very fine collection of fashion from the 20th and 21st centuries, including many haute couture garments from Paris and other famous fashion designs from all over the world. Today, the Röhsska Museum mainly collects contemporaneous material and the museum seeks to achieve a dialogue with its users on contemporary phenomena and expression. Janna Syvänoja
Janna (Kannada : ಮಹಾಕವಿ ಜನ್ನ) was one of the well-known Kannada poets of the early 13th century who also served in the capacity of a minister and a builder of temples. He graced the court of Hoysala empire King Veera Ballala II and earned the title ''Kavichakravarthi'' ("Emperor among poets"). His noteworthy writings include ''Yashodhara Charite '' (c.1209) which deals with Jain tenets, ''Ananthnatha Purana'' (c.1230) which deals with the teachings of the 14th Jain tirthankara, Anantanatha and a short piece called ''Anubhava Mukura''.
