Torrumbarry is a town in northern Victoria, Australia. The town is in the Shire of Campaspe local government area and on the Murray Valley Highway, north of the state capital, Melbourne. At the , Torrumbarry had a population of 279. The town was once large but shrank over time. The town still houses a hotel, a hall, a general store and a post office. The electoral district of Murray Plains is an electoral district of the Victorian Legislative Assembly in Australia. It was created in the redistribution of electoral boundaries in 2013, and came into effect at the 2014 state election. The Shire of Campaspe is a local government area in Victoria, Australia, located in the northern part of the state. It covers an area of and in August 2021 had a population of 38,735. It includes the towns of Girgarre, Echuca, Kyabram, Rochester, Tongala and Rushworth.
