Torphichen And Bathgate Pipe Band
Torphichen and Bathgate Pipe Band are based in West Lothian, Scotland and compete at the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association's Grade 2 level. History The band was founded in 1902 as the Torphichen Pipe Band. In the 1960s the band changed from the Green Hunting Stewart to the Bruce tartan Tartan or plaid ( ) is a patterned cloth consisting of crossing horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colours, forming repeating symmetrical patterns known as ''setts''.
