Toronto Triumph
The Toronto Triumph was a team in the Lingerie Football League that began play in the 2011–12 season. Based in Toronto, Ontario, they played their inaugural season at the Ricoh Coliseum. When they joined LFL Canada for the 2012 season, they played their home games at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The Triumph ceased operations after the 2012 LFL Canada season. The team was historically one of the worst in the league, only winning a single game, and was marred by labor disputes and behavioral issues throughout its existence. Bench-clearing Brawl
A bench-clearing brawl is a form of fighting that occurs in sports, most notably baseball and ice hockey, in which most or all players on both teams leave their dugouts, bullpens, or benches, and charge onto the playing area in order to fight one another or try to break up a fight. Penalties for leaving the bench can range from nothing to severe. Baseball In baseball, brawls are usually the result of escalating infractions or indignities, often stemming from a batter being hit by a pitch, especially if the batter then charges the mound. The Abbotsford Centre, formerly Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre, is a 7,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The arena was expected to cost $64.7 million. Construction began on September 24, 2007. As of 2023, it is the home of the Abbotsford Canucks of the American Hockey League (AHL) after previously hosting AHL's Abbotsford Heat from 2009 to 2014. Hershey Centre
The Paramount Fine Foods Centre, formerly the Hershey Centre, is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment complex located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Its current name was adopted on July 1, 2018, following a new naming rights agreement with Mississauga-based restaurant chain Paramount Fine Foods. The Citrus Bowl is an annual college football bowl game played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The Orlando Fantasy were a women's American football in the Lingerie Football League that began playing in the 2010–11 season and based in Orlando, Florida. Initially, former Orlando Predators' quarterback Ben Bennett was named head coach, but resigned due to disagreements with league management. He was replaced by the Predators' defensive specialist Kenny McEntyre. McEntyre was also replaced before the season started by Predators' assistant coach Doug Miller. The Regina Rage were a women's football team in the Lingerie Football League (LFL) and played in the 2012 LFL Canada season.
