Toronto Titans were one of the two new teams for the professional International Swimming League 2020 season, announced in December 2019, taking the total number of teams in the league to ten. Toronto Titans were based in Toronto, Ontario and trained out of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre in Scarborough, Toronto, Scarborough. 2020 International Swimming League season Team roster During the spring of 2020 Toronto Titans announced various signees to their roster for the planned 2020 ISL season, including Kylie Masse, Kayla Sanchez, Michael Chadwick (swimmer), Michael Chadwick, Blake Pieroni and Icelander, Anton Sveinn McKee, Anton McKee. International Swimming League
The International Swimming League (ISL) was an annual professional swimming league, established in 2019. It features a team-based competition format with fast-paced race sessions. In 2019, the regular season started in October and the Final Match was held in December. Athletes with a history of breaking anti-doping rules are banned from ISL. In March 2022, following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ISL abruptly cancelled its fourth season and all competition in 2022. Andriy Andriyovych Govorov (; born 10 April 1992) is a retired Ukrainian competitive swimmer who holds the world record, European champion ( 2016 London) and bronze medalist in world championship ( 2017 Budapest) in 50 meters butterfly. Daniil Valerievich Pasynkov (born 13 October 1994) is a competitive Russian swimmer. He is a Russian record holder in the short course 200 metre individual medley. At the 2019 European Short Course Swimming Championships, he won the bronze medal in the 400 metre individual medley. He won a gold medal in the 4×200 metre freestyle relay at the 2016 World Short Course Championships, swimming on the prelims relay. Tayla Lovemore
Tayla Lovemore (born 20 March 1995), is a South African swimmer who specializes in women's butterfly events and freestyle relay. She competed in the women's 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. Recruited to swim at Indian River State College, Lovemore received the 2016 NJCAA Women's Swimmer of the Year award during her graduating year. In March 2022, Lovemore was named as a NJCAA Hall of Fame inductee. She continued her collegiate swimming career at Florida State University, where she was named ACC Swimmer of the Week by collegeswimming.com. Finlay Knox (born January 8, 2001) is a Canadian competitive swimmer. Career Knox was born in England, and his family moved to New Zealand when he was two years old. Knox's family emigrated to Canada when he was seven. 2018–2021 Knox was named to his first Canadian national team at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At this event, Knox won bronze in the 200 m individual medley The following year, Knox won two medals at the 2019 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Budapest. Yuri Kisil (born September 18, 1995) is a Canadian competitive swimmer who is a freestyle sprinter. A three-time medallist at the World Aquatics Championships, Kisil has represented Canada at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. Career 2013–2016 Kisil's selection to the World Junior Championships in Dubai was his first major junior international competition. At this event he became the Canadian 15–17 age group national record holder in the 50 m Freestyle. Kisil was the youngest swimmer in Canadian history to win both the 50 m and 100 m freestyle national championships at the Canadian Swimming Trials in Victoria, British Columbia, on April 3, 2014. He was also the youngest Canadian to ever swim under 50 seconds in the 100m freestyle at the same event.
