Thorleifs was a Swedish dansband, formed in 1962 in Norrhult, Kronoberg County, Sweden and led by Thorleif Torstensson. Thorleif Schjelderup-Ebbe
Thorleif Schjelderup-Ebbe (12 November 1894 in Kristiania – 8 June 1976 in Oslo) was a Norwegian zoologist and comparative psychologist. He was the first person to describe a pecking order of hens, a discovery that contributed to understanding dominance hierarchies across species and influenced the field of ethology. Biography and education Thorleif Schjelderup-Ebbe was the son of the sculptors (1868–1941) and Menga Schjelderup (1871–1945). He had a sheltered early life with tutors providing his education. From a young age, he showed wide-ranging interests and intellectual capabilities. By age six, he began observing chickens, recording their behaviours—an interest that would define his scientific career. Ola Thorleif Ruud (6 September 1926 – 25 February 2018) was a Norwegian politician from the Conservative Party. He was born in Ål, and moved to Oslo to study. He graduated with the cand-.jur. degree in 1951, worked as a deputy judge in Alta, Norway, Alta from 1954 to 1955 before moving back to Ål. Here he opened his own lawyer's office, which he operated until 1997. Ruud was a member of the executive committee of Ål municipal council from 1955 to 1959, served as mayor from 1959 to 1967 and was again a member from 1971 to 1975. From 1959 to 1967 and 1975 to 1979 he was also a member of Buskerud county council. He chaired the county party chapter from 1961 to 1969. Thorleif Brinck Lund (7 June 1880 – 30 June 1956) was a Norwegian stage and film actor of the silent film era. Early life Thorleif Lund was born in Stavanger, Norway to parents Hans Geelmuyden Lund and Bertella Karen Lauritza Bertelsen in 1880. Thorlief Lund made his stage debut as an actor at the Nationaltheatret (The National Theater) in Oslo in 1905. He also appeared at the Centraltheatret (Central Theater) in Oslo, and then on Den Nationale Scene theater in Bergen from 1908 to 1913. In 1914, Lund made his film debut in the Scandinavian-Russian Handelshus in Copenhagen, Denmark where he participated in several films before he left the same year to sign a contract with Nordisk Film where he spent the next three years playing in some 35 films.
