Torbjörn Blomdahl
Torbjörn Blomdahl (born 26 October 1962 in Gothenburg) is a Swedish people, Swedish professional carom billiards (and to a lesser extent pocket billiards, pool) player from Helsingborg, Sweden who plays for FC Porto (billiards), FC Porto. He is a seven time World Champion in three-cushion billiards, having won the UMB World Three-cushion Championship, titles in 1987, 1988, 1991, 1992, 1997, 2015 and in 2019. Background Torbjörn Blomdahl was born in Gothenburg buat age 11he moved to Helsingborg. He is the son of three-cushion player Lennart Blomdahl, who was a driving force behind the local billiards club ''Borgen på Söder''. Three-cushion Billiards
Three-cushion billiards, also called three-cushion carom, is a form of carom billiards. The object of the game is to the off both while contacting the at least three times before contacting the second object ball. A point is scored for each successful carom. In most shots the cue ball hits the object balls one time each, although hitting them any number of times is allowed as long as both are hit. The cue ball may contact the cushions before or after hitting the first object ball. It does not have to contact three different cushions as long as it has been in contact with any cushion at least three times in total. Dingeman Jacobus Johannes "Dick" Jaspers (pronounced yas-pers) (born 23 July 1965) is a Dutch professional carom billiards player who specializes in the three-cushion event. Early life Jaspers started playing billiards when he was three years old in the pub his parents ran in his home town. Between 1974 and 1980 he participated in the Dutch Youth Championships before making the move to the senior level. Family life Semih Saygıner was born to a tailor father Faruk and a homemaker mother Süreyya in Adapazarı, Turkey on November 12, 1964. He is the fifth of six siblings.
