Tor Bomann-Larsen
Tor Bomann-Larsen (born 26 April 1951) is a Norwegian illustrator, children's writer, non-fiction writer, novelist and government scholar. Biography Tor Bomann-Larsen was born in Jevnaker, Oppland on 26 April 1951, a son of engineer Erik Bomann-Larsen and Solveig Gjerde. He married illustrator in 1975. Educated at Einar Granum’s art school in Oslo, and at Fachhochschule Münster in Germany, he started his career as a satirical illustrator for various newspapers, including '' Budstikka'', '' Friheten'', ''Ny tid'', ''Dagbladet'', '' Nationen'' and ''Arbederbladet''. He has written biographies of explorers Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen and writer Sigurd Christiansen. He was one of the two recipients of the Cappelen Prize for 1993, and of the Brage Prize for non-fiction in 2004. Jevnaker
Jevnaker is a municipality in Akershus county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Jevnaker with a population of 4,302. The parish of ''Jævnaker'' was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The area of Lunner was separated from the municipality of Jevnaker on 1 January 1898 to form a municipality of its own. From 2020 to 2023 the municipality belonged to Viken county, it was Oppland before that. The municipality is (together with Gran and Lunner) a part of the Hadeland traditional region. The Hadeland region has a population of about 30,000. The region spreads over a large area including several villages and towns. Axel Jensen
Axel Buchardt Jensen (12 February 1932 – 13 February 2003) was a Norwegian author. From 1957 until 2002, he published both fiction and non-fiction texts which include novels, poems, essays, a biography, and manuscripts for cartoons and animated films. Biography Jensen was born on 12 February 1932 in Trondheim to Dagny Teodora (née Buchardt, 1908–2000) and Finn Reidar Jensen (1901–1967). His father owned a sausage factory, ''Axel Jensens fabrikker'', in Oslo. His parents later divorced. His father's second marriage produced two sons. Jensen completed three years of high school but only lasted a couple of days at university as he didn't like the quiet polite lectures and so gave it up. He then undertook a number of labouring jobs, while writing in his spare time. He managed to get some stories published in the Aftenposten newspaper, but most of the short stories he submitted to journals and magazines were rejected. Princess Märtha of Sweden (Märtha Sofia Lovisa Dagmar Thyra; 28 March 1901 – 5 April 1954) was Crown Princess of Norway as the spouse of the future King Olav V from 1929 until her death in 1954. As Olav only became king in 1957, Märtha never became Queen of Norway. Her son, Harald V, is the current king of Norway. Princess Märtha was also an elder sister of Queen Astrid of Belgium and a maternal aunt of Grand Duchess Joséphine-Charlotte of Luxembourg and Kings Baudouin and Albert II of Belgium. In 1940, Crown Princess Märtha and her family were immersed in World War II as Germany invaded Norway. After escaping to her home country of Sweden, and then being evacuated to America by President Franklin D.
