Tonči Restović
Tonči Restović (born 13 December 1976) is a Croatian lawyer, politician and former professional darts player. He is currently the president of Social Democratic Party's Šibenik branch since 2017. Career At a Players Championship event in Halle in January 2011, Restović defeated Co Stompé in the first round, and eventually reached the third round before losing to Andy Smith. He qualified for the 2012 PDC World Cup of Darts where he partnered Boris Krčmar in the Croatian team. After Croatia defeated Finland 5–4 in the first round, they faced Wales in the second round. Restović lost his singles match against Mark Webster and Croatia would lose the match 0–4. In June, Restović qualified for the European Tour Event 3 with a win over Wilfried Hoberg in the European qualifier, and then beat Denis Ovens 6–3 in the first round in Düsseldorf. Šibenik
Šibenik () is a historic city in Croatia, located in central Dalmatia, where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. Šibenik is a political, educational, transport, industrial and tourist center of Šibenik-Knin County, and is also the third-largest city in the Dalmatian region. As of 2011, the city has 34,302 inhabitants, while the municipality has 46,332 inhabitants. History Etymology There are multiple interpretations of how Šibenik was named. In his fifteenth century book ''De situ Illiriae et civitate Sibenici,'' Juraj Šižgorić describes the name and location of Šibenik. He attributes the name of the city to it being surrounded by a palisade made of ''šibe'' (sticks, singular being ''šiba''). Another interpretation is associated with the forest through the Latin toponym "Sibinicum", which covered a narrower microregion within Šibenik on and around the area of St. Michael's Fortress. Mark Walsh (darts Player)
Mark Walsh (born 2 February 1965) is a former English professional darts player who competed in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. He reached No. 6 in the PDC Order of Merit. Walsh reached his first major televised final in 2005, when he was beaten by Phil Taylor in the UK Open. Early career Walsh made his televised debut at the 2002 World Matchplay but suffered a 10-0 whitewash at the hands of John Part. His World Championship debut came in 2004, but he lost 0-3 to Erik Clarys in his first match. He went out to Wayne Mardle 2-4 in 2005. He won his first match at the World Championship at his third attempt in 2006. He was seeded 12th for the event, and beat Warren Parry before losing 0-4 to Dennis Smith in the next round. Later career 2007-2010 He had slipped to 16th in the world rankings for the 2007 World Championship, when he was surprisingly beaten by 19-year-old Dutch player Rico Vonck, thus continuing his poor run at the tournament.
