Tony Weeden
Anthony L. Weeden Jr. (born July 25, 1982) is an American professional basketball player. He is a 184 cm (6 ft 1in) guard. He played competitively at Emmerich Manual High School before transferring to Pike High School where they brought home the 2001 National Championship. Professional career His career began in 2005 where he played in the United States and then Canada. He then transitioned to Syria, and in 2007 signed a contract with Polpharma Starogard Gdansk. Weeden began the 2008 season in Silesia, Wroclaw and after the withdrawal of the club with PLK, Weeden went on to play in Kwidzyn. In 2009, he returned to Polpharma where he led his team to the Polish Championships and took home the Bronze Medal. Weeden was selected for the 2010 Polish All Star Game and in the summer of 2010, Weeden signed to Marousi BC in the tough and physical Greek First Division (Athens, Greece). Marousi or Maroussi ( el, Μαρούσι, also Αμαρούσιο ''Amarousio'') is a suburb in the northeastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. Marousi dates back to the era of the ancient Athenian Republic; its ancient name was Athmonon (Ἄθμονον) and it represented one of the 10 Athenian sub-cities. Chicago State University (CSU) is a predominantly black public university in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1867 as the Cook County Normal School, it was an innovative teachers college. The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by HEBA ( el, ΕΣΑΚΕ, link=no), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.). It is the highest-tier level of the Greek league system. Polish Basketball League
Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Federation. The league changed to its current form, beginning with the 1997–98 season, after the Polska Liga Koszykówki SA, PLK SA (the Polish Basketball League Joint-stock company) took control over the league (the PLK SA was created in 1995).
