Weekend Of Horrors
Weekend of Horrors was traditionally a tri-annual (with occasionally more) traveling convention which focuses on horror films. Formerly produced in partnership with Creation Entertainment, the Weekend of Horrors show is now owned exclusively by '' Fangoria Magazine'' and is held once annually in Los Angeles, California. The convention also deals in areas of the horror genre outside filmmaking, as well as exploitation, science fiction, and fantasy entertainment. ''House of the Dead'' is a 2003 action horror film directed by Uwe Boll, from a screenplay by Dave Parker and Mark A. Altman. Based on the video game franchise of the same name by Sega, it is not a direct adaptation of the individual entries; Boll described the film as a prequel to the original 1996 game. Fantasia International Film Festival (also known as Fantasia-fest, FanTasia, and Fant-Asia) is a film festival that has been based mainly in Montreal since its founding in 1996.
