Tony Matterhorn
Tony Matterhorn (born Dufton Taylor on 13 March 1972) is a dancehall reggae deejay and sound system selector from Kingston, Jamaica. Matterhorn got his start in the sound system arena in the early 1990s, on Inner City Sound System first, then landing on King Addies in Brooklyn, New York alongside selector Babyface. After leaving Addies in 1998 to form his own sound, he went on to win several international clashes, including World Clash Jamaica and the UK Cup Clash. ''Dance Craze'' is a 1981 documentary film about the British Two-tone (music genre), 2 Tone music genre. The film was directed by Joe Massot, who originally wanted to do a film only about the band Madness (band), Madness, whom he met during their first US tour. Massot later changed his plans to include the whole 2 Tone movement. The film, shot in 1980, comprised performance footage of Madness, The Specials, The Selecter, The Bodysnatchers (band), The Bodysnatchers, The Beat (British band), the Beat and Bad Manners on tour throughout the United Kingdom. A soundtrack album of the same name was released the same year, featuring fifteen of the songs that were featured in the film. Later versions of the soundtrack album do not contain the Madness tracks, adding tracks credited to the Special AKA, a later incarnation of the Specials. The Dutty Wine is a Jamaican dance, typically performed by young women.Marcia A. World Clash is an annual reggae sound system clash. The World Sound Clash was started by World Promotion in 1993, the first clash was at the Roller express in London. Bodyguard sound system was the first world sound champion. The World Clash started in 1998 by promoters Irish and Chin and held in a different location each year.
