Anthony Ernest Marsh (20 July 1931 – 7 May 2009) was a British racing driver from England. His Formula One career was short and unsuccessful, but he enjoyed great success in hillclimbing, winning the British Hill Climb Championship on a record six occasions. Having begun his hillclimbing career in 1953 with a Cooper Car Company, Cooper-JA Prestwich Industries Ltd, JAP that had previously been driven by Peter Collins (racing driver), Peter Collins, Obituary (14 May 2009). In the 1960s, he drove an ex-Formula One British Racing Motors, BRM for a time before constructing his own Marsh car. Tony Marsh (rugby Union)
Tony Marsh (born 12 August 1972 in Rotorua) is a New Zealand-born former rugby union player who has represented France playing at centre. At the beginning of the 1990s, he played club rugby in Manurewa and Ardmore before playing National Provincial Championship rugby with Counties. Marsh joined the Blues Super rugby team in 1996, winning the Super 12 in 97, before switching to the Crusaders with whom he won the title in 1998. He is one of the only players who won back-to-back Super Rugby titles with different teams. Later that year he left New Zealand for France and signed for Top 12 club Montferrand, now known as Clermont, with whom he reached the final of the league on three occasions, in 1999, 2001 and 2007, won the European Challenge Cup twice in 1999 and in 2007, as well as the now-defunct French national cup in 2001. Anthony "Tony" Marsh (born May 26, 1954) is an American contemporary ceramic artist who lives and works in San pedro, California. Career Marsh received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1978 from California State University Long Beach. From 1978 to 1981, Marsh studied as an apprentice under Japanese potter Tatsuzō Shimaoka, in Mashiko, Japan. Marsh worked with Shimaoka's shokunin, or craftsmen, on a daily basis and was influenced by the traditional culture of the community, which differed from Marsh's experience of art-making in the United States. After leaving Japan, Marsh received a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1988 from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.
