Tony Kellow
Tony Kellow (1 May 1952 – 20 February 2011) was an English professional association football, footballer. He played as a Forward (association football), forward and made over 400 Football League appearances in the 1970s and 1980s. Early career He was born in Budock Water, a village near Falmouth, Cornwall, Falmouth, and on leaving school he found employment in Falmouth Docks as an electrician, later turning out for the Falmouth Docks football side. At the age of seventeen he played in the South Western Football League for Penzance A.F.C., Penzance, helping them win the Cornwall Senior Cup in 1973. He then moved to his home-town side Falmouth Town, before moving back to play for Penzance in 1974/75, winning a South Western League championship medal. In 1975, he returned to Falmouth Town. Budock Water
Budock Water (, meaning ''church hillspur'') is a village and former Manorialism, manor in the civil parishes in England, civil parish of Budock, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is situated west of Falmouth, Cornwall, Falmouth. According to the UK census 2001, 2001 census Budock parish had a population of 1,399. This had increased to 1,537 at the 2011 census. The parish includes the smaller villages of Lamanva and Treverva and encompasses of land. The hamlet of Mongleath is also in the parish. Arable farming in the parish includes early potatoes, broccoli and daffodils. Amenities Budock Water village has a public house called the Trelowarren Arms (known as the Trelly) and there is also a hotel in the parish (Penmorvah Manor) which has a restaurant that is open to non-residents. Falmouth Docks
Falmouth Docks are a deep-water docks of the town of Falmouth in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The docks are the southern shore of the Fal Estuary which is the third largest natural harbour in the world and the deepest in Europe. They extend over and covers a range of services to shipping such as repair, refuelling, cleaning and disposal of waste services. The docks are served by the Falmouth Docks railway station. The Cornwall County Football Association Senior Cup, commonly known as the Cornwall Senior Cup, is a knockout cup competition in English football for clubs based in Cornwall, run by and named after the Cornwall County Football Association. It is a County Cup competition involving clubs from the South West Peninsula League and St Piran League. As of the 2015–16 season, the competition is called the RGB Senior Cup for sponsorship reasons. The reigning champions are Falmouth Town, who defeated Saltash United 2-1 in the 2019 final to win the cup for the 12th time. It was Falmouth's first final appearance since 1997. South Western Football League
The South Western Football League was an English association football league composed of clubs from Cornwall and west and north Devon. It consisted of a single division at the eleventh overall tier of the English football league system, the seventh and lowest "Step" of the official National League System. The East Cornwall League and Cornwall Combination ranked below the South Western on the overall pyramid, and in turn have feeder leagues of their own. Champions of the South Western League, whose last principal sponsor was the ''Carlsberg'' beer brand via St. Austell Brewery, were eligible for promotion to the lower division of the Western League, but the difficulties Cornish teams have travelling further afield have discouraged applications for promotion.
