Tony Jordan
Tony Jordan (born 21 July 1957) is a British television writer. For many years, he was lead writer and series consultant for BBC One soap opera ''EastEnders''. He has written over 250 episodes for the programme since 1989, including the 2008 Single-hander (EastEnders), single-hander "Pretty Baby....". He created the series ''Hustle (TV series), Hustle'', ''HolbyBlue'', ''City Central (TV series), City Central'', ''Moving Wallpaper'', ''Echo Beach (TV series), Echo Beach'', ''The Nativity (TV series), The Nativity'', ''The Passing Bells'' and ''Dickensian (TV series), Dickensian'', and co-created ''Life on Mars (British TV series), Life on Mars'' and ''By Any Means (2013 TV series), By Any Means''. Dorothy "Dot" Cotton (also Branning) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', portrayed by June Brown. In a special episode entitled ''EastEnders: Dot's Story'' (2003) a young Dot was played by Tallulah Pitt-Brown in flashbacks. Alfie Moon is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Shane Richie. He made his first appearance on 21 November 2002, and left on 25 December 2005. He returned on 21 September 2010, following the return of his on-screen wife, Kat Slater, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), two episodes previously, and they continued to feature until 22 May 2015. Andy Hunter is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Michael Higgs. Zoe Slater is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Michelle Ryan. She made her first appearance on 18 September 2000. Kat Slater (also Moon and Mitchell) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Jessie Wallace. She was also played by Kate Peck in a flashback in 2001 and Sumar-Elise Sandford in a flashback in 2018. Sharongate
"Sharongate" is the term used for a storyline in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', which reached its climax on 24 October 1994, attracting 25.3 million viewers. The plot was written by ''EastEnders'' scriptwriter Tony Jordan. In the storyline, Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) confessed on tape that she had had sex with her brother-in-law, Phil (Steve McFadden). The truth comes out in the middle of The Queen Victoria pub. Ethel Skinner
Ethel Skinner is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', played by Gretchen Franklin.
