Tony Hill (wide Receiver)
Leroy Anthony Hill Jr. (born June 23, 1956) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL), playing 10 seasons for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Stanford University. Early life Hill was a high school quarterback at Long Beach Polytechnic High School, where he followed in the footsteps of an earlier-day record passer, Gene Washington. He broke most of Washington's high school passing records, and then followed him to Stanford University, where he was converted into a wide receiver, and again broke most of Washington's receiving records. As a senior, Hill had an ankle injury against Penn State University, that forced him to miss the University of Michigan game and be limited in the next two contests. 1975 All-Pacific-8 Conference Football Team
The 1975 All-Pacific-8 Conference football team consists of American football players chosen by the United Press International (UPI) and the conference coaches as the best players by position in the Pac-8 Conference during the 1975 NCAA Division I football season. Gene Washington (49ers)
Gene Alden Washington (born January 14, 1947) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions. Early life Washington was born on January 14, 1947, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was raised in California, and attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School. He was a multi-talented quarterback, and led the team to a league championship in 1964. That year he was also shared in the Back of the Year award and was selected to the all-city team.
