Anthony "Tony" Evans (born 30 January 1966) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda and Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Originally from East Ballarat, Evans began his St Kilda career in 1986, when he played eight games. He made 10 appearances for St Kilda in 1987 and nine in 1988, then went to Footscray via the 1989 Pre-season Draft (pick 35). His time at Footscray was positive but short, Evans was performing outstandingly in the senior team until a reoccurring knee injury ended his time at the bulldogs early in the season. Tony Evans (born 14 June 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with West Coast Eagles, West Coast in the Australian Football League, AFL during the 1990s. He was named on the forwardline on West Coast's 'Team of the Decade'. Anthony Evans (born 11 January 1954) is an English former professional footballer. Evans was born in Liverpool. He played as a forward for clubs including Cardiff City, for whom he made well over 100 appearances, and Birmingham City, for whom he was leading scorer in the 1981–82 season. Evans scored a hat-trick for Birmingham City against Manchester City in September 1981. This was the last top-flight hat-trick for Birmingham City until Mikael Forssell scored three against Tottenham Hotspur in 2008. He then spent 21 games of the 1983-84 season with Crystal Palace, scoring seven goals - all of them away from home - to ensure their safety in the Second Division. Anthony William Evans (born 14 March 1960) is an English footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League for Colchester United. Career He started his career as an apprentice at Colchester United and made his first appearance for the club on 4 March 1978 against Hereford United. Anthony Tyrone "Tony" Evans (born September 10, 1949) is an American Christian pastor, speaker, author, and widely syndicated radio and television broadcaster in the United States. Evans serves as senior pastor to the over-9,500-member Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas. Early life and education In 1973, at the age of 24, Tony Evans was contacted by a radio show producer from Houston (KHCB).
