Tony Chung
Tony Chung Hon-lam (; born 22 April 2001) is a Hong Kong Hong Kong independence, pro-independence activist. He was the founder and convenor of the localist camp student group Studentlocalism. On 29 July 2020, he became the first political figure to be arrested on suspicion of violating the newly imposed 2020 Hong Kong national security law, national security law and has also been charged with money laundering and publishing sedition, seditious articles. In December 2023 he fled to the United Kingdom to seek asylum. Biography Early life Chung was born in Hong Kong in 2001 and was educated at Buddhist Mau Fung Memorial College and Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education. Leung Chun-ying ( zh, t=梁振英; born 12 August 1954), also known as CY Leung, is a Hong Kong politician and chartered surveyor who has served as vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference since March 2017. He was previously the third Chief Executive of Hong Kong between 2012 and 2017. A surveyor by profession, Leung entered politics when he joined the Hong Kong Basic Law Consultative Committee (HKBLCC) in 1985 and became its secretary-general in 1988. In 1999, he was appointed the convenor of the Executive Council of Hong Kong, a position he held until 2011, when he resigned to run in the 2012 Chief Executive election. ''Carmen'' () is an opera in four acts by the French composer Georges Bizet. The libretto was written by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy, based on the Carmen (novella), novella of the same title by Prosper Mérimée.
