Tonje Daffinrud
Tonje Frydenberg Daffinrud (born 19 September 1991) is a retired Norwegian professional golfer. She played on the Ladies European Tour between 2015 and 2021, and represented Norway at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Amateur career As a junior, Daffinrud represented Europe at the 2009 Junior Solheim Cup. She also represented the Norwegian National Team at the European Ladies' Team Championship and Espirito Santo Trophy. She played collegiate golf with the Denver Pioneers, like her compatriot Espen Kofstad, and graduated from the University of Denver in 2014 with a degree in International Business and Economics. In 2016, she won the Norwegian National Golf Championship and was awarded the ''Kongepokal''. Tønsberg , historically Tunsberg, is a city and municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, eastern Norway, located around south-southwest of Oslo on the western coast of the Oslofjord near its mouth onto the Skagerrak. The 2017 Ricoh Women's British Open was played 3–6 August in Scotland at Kingsbarns Golf Links in Fife. Marianne Skarpnord
Marianne Skarpnord (born 11 February 1986) is a Norwegian professional golfer playing on the Ladies European Tour. Amateur career As a junior, Skarpnord was considered one of the biggest talents in Norwegian golf. In 2003, she won the Girls Amateur Championship, defeating Beatriz Recari of Spain in the final match. She also won the Junior Solheim Cup with Europe the same year. Skarpnord made a 6 footer to secure the win for the European team. In 2004, she finished 3rd in the British Girls Championship. She finished 12th in the qualifying school for the Ladies European Tour and got her tour card for the 2005 season. Oates Vic Open
The Vic Open is an annual golf tournament held in Australia. It was founded in 1957 and is the Victoria state open championship for men. It is run by Golf Victoria and is a Golf Australia national ranking event. The event is held concurrently with the Women's Victorian Open and offers equal prize pool for the two events. The tournament's tag line is: "Men and women. On the same course. At the same time. For equal prize money." The men and women play on the same course at the same time in alternating groups. History The first Victorian Open was played at Riversdale in 1957, replacing the Victorian Close Championship which had been first held in 1948.
