Giuseppe Toniolo
Giuseppe Toniolo (7 March 1845 – 7 October 1918) was an Italian Roman Catholic economist, sociologist, and pioneer of Christian democracy. A leading political and social economist, Toniolo condemned both socialism and laissez-faire capitalism, advocating instead for an economic system in which social, judicial, and economic forces cooperate proportionately for the common good. Toniolo was an early Catholic advocate of labour unions and social reform. Describing the economy as an "integral part of the operative design of God," his work was inspired by Catholic social teaching. Toniolo was beatified on 29 April 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI in Rome. Edoardo Toniolo
Edoardo Toniolo (22 November 1907 - 31 December 1986) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Life and career Born in Turin, the son of the stage actors Antonio and Rosa Rosaz, at young age Toniolo debuted on stage in supporting roles. He later worked on radio, and in the mid-1930s he started appearing in films, usually in character roles. After the Second World War, and following his role as leading actor in Ferruccio Cerio's ''Posto di blocco'', Toniolo also started working as a dubber, and since 1954 he was also pretty active in television dramas. He was sometimes credited as Edward Douglas. Leopoldo Toniolo
Leopoldo Toniolo (1833–1908) was an Italian painter, mainly of genre themes. Toniolo was born in Schio, Province of Vicenza, but had moved to Padua by 1861. ''El me ama'', was exhibited in 1880 in Turin, along with a canvas depicting: ''An Antiquarian''. In Milan in 1881, he exhibited: ''Repose of the Odalisque'', In 1887 in Venice, he exhibited ''In aspettazione della solita partita''. He also painted portraits both contemporary, such as a young Malmignati Leoni, and historical, such as ''Portrait of Petrarch''. ‘‘Dizionario degli Artisti Italiani Viventi: pittori, scultori, e Architetti.’’
