Tong Leadership Academy
Tong Leadership Academy (formerly Tong High School) is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form located in the Tong area of Bradford in West Yorkshire, England. History In 2008 Tong High School went through a major remodelling. A new building was built and after vacating, the old building was demolished. In December 2016, the school converted to academy status, joining Tauheedul Education Trust (now Star Academies), and was renamed Tong Leadership Academy. Academy (English School)
An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. The terms of the arrangements are set out in individual Academy Funding Agreements. Most academies are secondary schools, though slightly more than 25% of primary schools (4,363 as of December 2017) are academies. Academies are self-governing non-profit charitable trusts and may receive additional support from personal or corporate sponsors, either financially or in kind. Trampolining
Trampolining or trampoline gymnastics is a competitive Olympic sport in which athletes perform acrobatics while bouncing on a trampoline. In competition, these can include simple jumps in the straight, pike, tuck, or straddle position to more complex combinations of forward and/or backward somersaults and twists. Scoring is based on the difficulty and on the total seconds spent in the air. Points are deducted for bad form and horizontal displacement from the center of the bed. Melissa Steel (born 6 July 1993), is an English singer from Bradford. She is best known for her debut single " Kisses for Breakfast" with Popcaan and also on Blonde's "I Loved You". Career Background Melissa Steel grew up in Bradford. She attended Tong Leadership Academy with classmate Zayn Malik. She started performing at age seven and recorded her first self-written song in the studio at age 11. In 2007, Steel, then 14, uploaded her first YouTube video and built an international fan base of people who would watch her covers. Claire Hardaker (linguist)
Claire Hardaker (born 16 January 1981) is a British linguist. She is senior lecturer at the Department of Linguistics and English Language of Lancaster University, United Kingdom. Her research involves forensic linguistics and corpus linguistics. Her research focuses on deceptive, manipulative, and aggressive language in a range of online data. She has investigated behaviours ranging from trolling and disinformation to human trafficking and online scams. Her research typically uses corpus linguistic methods to approach forensic linguistic analyses. Bradford City
Bradford City Association Football Club is an English professional football club in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The team competes in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system and are currently managed by Mark Hughes. Fabian Delph (born 21 November 1989) is an English former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder or left-back. He was on the books of Bradford City as a youngster until he moved to Leeds United aged 11.
