Tone Damli
Tone Damli Aaberge (born 12 April 1988) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and actress. She became famous for being a contestant in the Norwegian version of the ''Idol'' series. Damli was the runner-up in the Norwegian version of ''Idol'' in 2005, following Jorun Stiansen in the final. Despite not winning, she has become very popular in her native Norway releasing four albums, ''Bliss'', '' Sweet Fever'', '' I Know'', and '' Cocool''. ''Bliss'' and ''I Know'' have been certified gold in Norway, one Compilation album, one Christmas album, one EP and 21 singles. ''Skal vi danse'' () is a Norwegian television series which has been broadcast on TV 2 and produced by Monster Entertainment since 2006. The series sees celebrities partner with professional dancers to compete in mainly ballroom and Latin dance. The pairs each week compete by performing one or more choreographed routines that usually revolve around a prearranged theme for that particular week. Each pair is then scored by a panel of judges and the viewers. The viewers are given a short time to place votes for their favourite pairs, usually online. Once all the votes have been added up, the pair with the lowest combined score is eliminated. This process continues until there are only two pairs left, who will compete against each other in a final before one is crowned the winner. Melodi Grand Prix 2020 was the 58th edition of the Norwegian music competition Melodi Grand Prix (MGP) and served as the country's preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. The competition was organized by NRK between 11 January 2020 and 15 February 2020, and a total of 25 songs participated – the highest number in the history of the competition. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Norway's debut in the Eurovision Song Contest, five heats and a final were organised instead of a single final. Each region in Norway was assigned its own heat, in which four acts from that region competed for a spot in the final on 15 February 2020.
