Santo Domingo Tonalá is a town and Municipalities of Oaxaca, municipality in Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. It is part of the Huajuapan District in the north of the Mixteca Region. Santo Domingo Tonala is located about 50 km from Huajuapan de leon. Environment Santo Domingo Tonala has been working with its community to maintain its flora and fauna by educating schools. Signs have been posted to encourage everyone to take care of the environment. Economy Tonala has a small population because many have migrated in search of a better living and education. Culture During the many festivals, many migrants return to experience its rich culture that attracts tourists as well. Tonalá, Jalisco
Tonalá () is a city and municipality within the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area in the state of Jalisco in Mexico. With a population of 442,440, it is the fourth largest city in the state, the other three being the other major population centres in the metro area: Guadalajara, Zapopan, and Tlaquepaque. It is best known as a major handcrafts center for Jalisco, especially pottery, as well as its very large Thursday and Sunday street market, dedicated to handcrafts. The city The “municipal palace” or local government building is distinguished by its clock tower and arches, which are decorated in ceramic tiles in traditional motifs. There are also ceramic murals created by Salvador Vázquez and Francisco Basulto. In 2013, the local government opened an exhibition hall and museum in the building called the Tonalá Puebla-Museo, to promote local handcrafts, arts and culture. Tonalá is a municipality in the state of Chiapas in southern Mexico. As of 2010, the municipality had a total population of 84,594, up from 78,438 as of 2005. It covers an area of 1853km2. As of 2010, the city of Tonalá had a population of 35,322. Other than the city of Tonalá, the municipality had 960 localities, the largest of which (with 2010 populations in parentheses) were: Paredón (6,126), Tres Picos (4,403), Cabeza de Toro (3,413), classified as urban, and Manuel Ávila Camacho (Ponte Duro) (1,778), Ignacio Ramírez (1,689), Huizachal (1,421), Doctor Belisario Domínguez (La Barra) (1,043), San Luqueño (1,016), and Morelos (Mojarras) (1,010), classified as rural.
