Tomás Chancalay
Tomás Alejandro Chancalay (born 1 January 1999) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club New England Revolution. Club career Born in Viale, Entre Ríos, Chancalay joined Colón's youth setup in 2006, from hometown side Arsenal de Viale. On 10 February 2017, he signed his first professional contract with the club. Promoted to the first team ahead of the 2017–18 campaign, Chancalay made his professional – and Primera División – debut on 26 August 2017, coming on as a second-half substitute for Nicolás Leguizamón in a 1–1 away draw against Rosario Central. In his next appearance on 8 September, he scored his first senior goal as Colón beat Arsenal de Sarandí away from home. He netted further goals against San Martín and Godoy Cruz in twenty-four total appearances in his first season, as Colón qualified for the 2018 Copa Sudamericana. The 2018 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana was the 17th edition of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Copa Sudamericana'', or ), South America's secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. Brazilian club Atlético Paranaense defeated Colombian club Junior by 4–3 on penalties in the finals after a 2–2 draw on aggregate score to win their first tournament title. The 2018–19 Argentine Primera División – Superliga Argentina (officially the Superliga Quilmes Clásica for sponsorship reasons) was the 129 season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. The season began on 10 August 2018 and ended on 7 April 2019. Boca Juniors were the defending champions. The 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 22nd edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship. Fernando Ariel Batista (born 20 August 1970) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a defender. He is the current manager of the Venezuela national team. Playing career Born in Buenos Aires, Batista started his playing career with Argentine top flight side Argentinos Juniors, where he made 134 league appearances and scored four goals.
