Tomorrow Another Day
''Tomorrow Another Day'' is the third studio album by singer/songwriter Debra Arlyn. It was released independently by Homeslice Records in the United States on March 27, 2008. Background Arlyn had recorded and released her second studio album '' Complicated Mess'' in 2006 with the purpose of trying to secure a record deal, but when that fell through she returned home to Oregon and began working on her next album while continuing to tour to support herself. During touring, she'd practice and write material that would ultimately end up on ''Tomorrow Another Day''. Arlyn also made more of an effort to do co-writing sessions after the self-penned ''Complicated Mess'', writing three songs with different co-writers, including Dapo Torimiro, Ben Margulies and Steve Sundholm. Arlyn sought out a new producer after exhausting herself self-producing her last album and met Rob Stroup, who became the lead producer for the album. Debra Irene Arlyn (born February 27, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist from Oregon. Her musical style is a blend of pop, adult contemporary, jazz and R&B, arranged and performed on piano, with lyrics that deal with love and relationships. She is noted for having a powerful voice. She has independently released three albums and one EP. Early life Debra Arlyn was born on February 27, 1986, in Corvallis, Oregon, to Valerie, a homemaker, and to Tony, a musician/businessman. She is of Polish and Irish descent. She grew up in Corvallis and spent her time growing up singing in school and church choirs. ''Complicated Mess'' is the second studio album of American singer-songwriter Debra Arlyn. It was released independently by Homeslice Records in the United States on August 8, 2006. Background Debra Arlyn released her first independent album, ''Thinking Out Loud,'' in 2005 and took the album to Los Angeles in hopes of securing a major label record deal. Feedback from the managers and labels at the time was that her look and sound were good, but she'd have to focus on her songwriting. Ben Margulies is an American songwriter and record producer as well as a drummer, guitarist, pianist, and singer. He is best known for co-writing seven of the eleven songs on Mariah Carey's self-titled debut album with her, including the number-one hits "Vision of Love", "Love Takes Time", and "Someday".
