Tommy Organ
Thomas LeRoy Organ, Jr. (born 22 February 1963) is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer. The son of Thomas LeRoy Organ, Sr. (1940 – 1966 Musician, Army Veteran) and Dorothy Louise Render-Organ (1941 Legal Secretary, Entrepreneur), he began playing music at a very young age. His brother, Derek LaMont Organ (1961 Musician) is a prolific session drummer. He has toured with such important artists as, Janet Jackson, Usher, Toni Braxton, TLC and The Jacksons. He also completed studio recordings with Ray Charles, Lionel Richie, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Tommy has also played in ceremonies of The Grammys, American Music Awards and MTV Music Awards with various artists. The Roxy Theatre (often just the Roxy) is a nightclub on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, owned by Lou Adler and his son, Nic. Eugene Allen Booker, Jr. (born December 19, 1962), known professionally as Chuckii Booker, is an American producer, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and bandleader from Los Angeles, California. Biography Booker emerged in the late 1980s as an urban contemporary R&B artist and producer. He began recording music after being signed by his godfather, Barry White, to his production company in 1984. Later, he played keyboards with the short-lived Epic Records band Tease for three years. Booker received his recording contract in an unlikely manner. He gave his demo tape to the manager of Gerald Albright to showcase his skills as a musician, but had forgotten about the songs on the other side of the tape that contained original songs with his vocals. Tease (band)
Tease was an American R&B band formed in Los Angeles in 1979. The band originally consisted of Kipper Jones (lead vocalist); Josef Parson (rhythm guitarist); Thomas Organ (lead guitarist); Thomas' brother, Derek Organ (drummer); Rex Salas (keyboardist); and Cornelius Mims (bassist). Career Forming in California in 1977 and first performing under the name 7th Heaven, the group changed their name to Tease in 1979. By late 1982, they had scored a record deal with RCA Records, at the recommendation of prolific session drummer, Ollie E. Brown, who produced the group's self-titled debut album, released the following year. The album featured a pair of singles, "Flash" and "What Should I Do," but neither of them found chart success. Rex Salas (born March 16, 1962) is a Grammy and Emmy Award nominated American record producer, songwriter, musical director, and music arranger. Best known in recent years for his work as the musical director for Janet Jackson on several of her tours, Salas has worked with many other notable artists. Early years Salas was born on March 16, 1962, in Prince George's County, Maryland, to parents Tomas and Mary. He left Maryland as a young child and moved to California, where he studied the guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards, eventually focusing on piano and keyboards as his main instruments.
