Tomislav Erceg
Tomislav Erceg (born 22 October 1971) is a retired Croatian footballer who played as a forward. He made four appearances for the Croatia national team, scoring one goal. Club career Erceg started his career at HNK Šibenik in 1990, moving to HNK Hajduk Split after his first season with the club. After three seasons in Split, he went abroad, going on to play in the national leagues of Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Japan and Israel. He was top scorer of the Prva HNL when he played for NK Rijeka in the 2004–05 season, scoring 17 goals. He was Rijeka's first player to become the league goalscorer in Prva HNL As of May 2010 and the conclusion of the 2009–10 Prva HNL season, Erceg is ranked fifth all-time top scorer in Prva HNL with 97 goals. The Hrvatska nogometna liga (; ), abbreviated as HNL and also known for sponsorship reasons as the SuperSport HNL, is a professional association football league in Croatia and the highest level of the Croatian football league system. The Croatian Football Super Cup is a football match between the winners of the Croatian national top league and football cup. Croatian Football Cup
The Croatian Football Cup (), is an annually held football tournament for Croatian football clubs and is the second most important competition in Croatian football after the HNL championship. It is governed by the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) and usually runs from late August to late May. Cup winners automatically qualify for next season's UEFA Europa League, except when cup winners are also Prva HNL champions, in which case their berth in the Europa Conference League goes to the best-placed team in the Prva HNL who have not qualified for the UEFA competitions through their league performance. The Yugoslav Cup (; ; , ), officially known between 1923 and 1940 as the King Alexander Cup (; , and between 1947 and 1991 as the Marshal Tito Cup (; ; ; ), was one of two major association football, football competitions in Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia, the other one being the Yugoslav League Championship. Robert Prosinečki
Robert Prosinečki (; born 12 January 1969) is a professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Born in West Germany, he internationally represented Yugoslavia and later Croatia. He is the current manager of the Montenegro national team. Early in his career, he was part of the Red Star Belgrade team that won three Yugoslav First League titles and the European Cup in 1991. Prosinečki spent several years in Spain with rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as Oviedo and Sevilla. Later in his career, he won three Croatian league titles with Dinamo Zagreb, and also played in Belgium, England and Slovenia. The is an association football tournament organised in Japan by the Kirin Brewery Company. The host, Japan national football team, Japan, is a participant in every edition.
