Tomara Thomas is the stage name of Thomas Adams, a British drag performer. She is best known for competing on the fifth series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK''. Early life and education Tom Adams was born to Sharon and Jason Adams in Hartlepool, County Durham, England. He began taking dance classes at age 10. Adams started doing drag at age 14 under the name "Tamara". His dance teacher helped him create the name for his drag persona. He attended Manor College and has studied musical theatre. Career Adams has worked as a professional dancer, including on cruise ships. Tomara Thomas was part of a drag trio that performed as Interval Act during the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, and she competed on series 5 of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK''.
