Tom Sherry
Thomas Matthew Sherry (5 October 1881 – 3 August 1971) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Career Sherry, a recruit from Barwon, played for Geelong in the 1907 VFL season. He came into the side in round five and played in the remainder of Geelong's games that season, a total of 13 appearances. His tally of 18 goals in 1907 was enough to win Geelong's leading goalkicker award. In 1908, Sherry applied for a clearance to the Melbourne Football Club, but it was refused. Undera
Undera is a town in the Goulburn Valley region of northern Victoria, Australia. The town in the City of Greater Shepparton local government area, north of the state capital, Melbourne and north-west of the regional centre of Shepparton. At the , Undera and the surrounding area had a population of 545, declining to just 442 by 2016. History In 1874, when the area came under farm-selection activity, a township was surveyed and named Undera, the Post Office opening on 24 August 1875. It is thought that the name is derived from an Aboriginal word, most likely meaning fat. Before being named Undera, the area was known as Mundoona. The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). Prahran Assumption Football Club (), nicknamed The Two Blues, is an Australian rules football club based at Toorak Park in Orrong Road between High Street and Malvern Road, Armadale, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Tongala is a town in the Goulburn Valley region of northern Victoria, Australia. The town is in the Shire of Campaspe local government area, between Kyabram and Echuca, north of the state capital, Melbourne. At the , Tongala had a population of 1,926.
