Tom Middleton is a Canadian pop singer from Victoria, British Columbia. His first band, The Marquis, broke up in 1969. He struck out on his own, becoming a mainstay on the Vancouver circuit while writing material. He connected with manager Howard Leese in 1972, signed a deal with Columbia Records Columbia Records is an American record label owned by Sony Music, Sony Music Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America, the North American division of Japanese Conglomerate (company), conglomerate Sony.
