Tom Køhlert
Tom Køhlert (; born 30 April 1947) is a Danish football manager and former player who managed Brøndby IF from 1979 to 1985 and several times later as a caretaker. He led the club to its first ever Danish championship in 1985. He has also functioned as a caretaker for the club's first team on two occasions. He currently coaches lower-tier club Gilleleje FK. Playing career A Brøndby IF club legend, Køhlert began his career as a player for Akademisk Boldklub (AB) before shortly moving to Glostrup IF 32 and finally to the former Brøndbyvester IF. A year later, Brøndbyvester merged with Brøndbyøster IF and became Brøndby IF, where he made his debut in 1966. He later stated, that he was not an ambitious player, refusing to train three times a week when new Brøndby coach John Sinding took over. Glostrup
Glostrup is a Denmark, Danish town in Capital Region of Denmark, Region Hovedstaden, forming one of the Western suburbs (Copenhagen), western suburbs of Copenhagen. It is the administrative seat of Glostrup Municipality, with an estimated population of 23,540 . During the 20th century Glostrup developed from a small railroad town into a modern middle class suburb. In association footballing terms, a caretaker manager or interim manager is somebody who takes temporary charge of the management of a football team, usually when the regular manager is dismissed or leaves for a different club. Akademisk Boldklub are a Danish professional association football club based in Copenhagen, who currently play in the Danish 1st Division. The Danish League Cup, was a football competition, arranged by ''Divisionsforeningen'', for all the top level Danish football teams. The competition has existed in various formats, with the exact name of the league depending on the sponsor. For instance, the Danish League Cup was named Carlsberg Grand Prix in 1984, where Brøndby IF won the trophy. While the name changed to Spar Cup in 1996, where FC Copenhagen won the trophy. The last time the League Cup was organised as an official tournament was apparently in 1996. It shortly reappeared in 2005-2006, as the tournament known as Tele2 LigaCup. Games played in the Tele2 LigaCup were however not counted as official matches by the Danish Football Association, as the matches were only played with one regular half (45 minutes).
