Tom Hopper
Thomas Edward Hopper (born 28 January 1985) is an English actor. He has appeared as Percival in ''Merlin'' (2010–12), Billy Bones in '' Black Sails'' (2014–17), Dickon Tarly in ''Game of Thrones'' (2017), and Luther Hargreeves in ''The Umbrella Academy'' (2019–2024). Early life Thomas Edward Hopper was born on 28 January 1985 in Coalville, Leicestershire. He attended Ashby School, where he first developed an interest in acting. He enrolled in a drama class and appeared in a production of the musical '' Return to the Forbidden Planet''. He studied acting at Rose Bruford College. Career Hopper was cast in ''As You Like It'' at the Watford Palace Theatre and has appeared in various television programmes and films including ''Saxon'', ''Casualty'', '' Kingdom'' and ''Doctors''. Coalville
Coalville is a town in the district of North West Leicestershire in Leicestershire in the East Midlands of England. In 2011, it had a population of 34,575. It lies on the A511 road, A511 between Leicester and Burton upon Trent, close to junction 22 of the M1 motorway where the A511 meets the A50 between Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Leicester. It borders the upland area of Charnwood Forest to the east of the town and is situated 5.5 miles from Ashby and 9 miles west-southwest of Loughborough. ''Good Cop'' is a British police procedural television series, written and created by Stephen Butchard, that first broadcast on BBC One on 30 August 2012. The plot centres on an ordinary police constable, John Paul Rocksavage ( Warren Brown), whose life changes forever when his best friend and colleague, Andy Stockwell (Tom Hopper), is attacked and killed in a savage ambush. A single series of four episodes was broadcast weekly at 9:00pm on Thursdays from 30 August 2012. Following the shooting of two police officers in Tameside, Greater Manchester, on 18 September 2012, the BBC postponed the final episode, originally scheduled for Thursday 20 September at 9:00pm.
