Tom Gorai
Tom Gorai (born December 1962) is an American film producer. Biography Gorai was born in Seattle, Washington. A graduate of Vassar College with a degree in Philosophy and Film, Tom Gorai is an eighteen-year veteran of the film and television industry. He produced ''Arlington Road'' (1999) starring Jeff Bridges, Tim Robbins) and Joan Cusack, ''Going All the Way'' featuring Jeremy Davies and Ben Affleck, and most recently '' Outsourced'' with Josh Hamilton, Larry Pine and Ayesha Dharker, self-distributed by ShadowCatcher Entertainment and '' American Pastime'' starring Jon Gries and Gary Cole, distributed by Warner Home Video. He produced the "Bachelor Party Segment" for Cameron Crowe's ''Jerry Maguire''. The MTV Video Music Awards (commonly abbreviated as the VMAs) is an award show presented by the cable channel MTV to honour the best in the music video medium. Mark Pellington
Mark Pellington (born March 17, 1962) is an American film director, writer, and producer. Life and career Pellington was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Bill Pellington, an All-Pro linebacker who played football with the Baltimore Colts for 12 seasons. Mark graduated from the University of Virginia in 1984, which he attended on an athletic scholarship, playing attack on the lacrosse team. He worked at MTV from 1984–1990, winning awards as a promo producer and creating the landmark TV documentary series ''Buzz'' (1990). He became a freelance director in 1990, directing music videos for U2, Crystal Waters, De la Soul and Pearl Jam. "Jeremy" is a song by American rock band Pearl Jam, with lyrics written by vocalist Eddie Vedder and music written by bassist Jeff Ament. "Jeremy" was released in August 1992 as the third single from Pearl Jam's debut album, ''Ten'' (1991). The song was inspired by a newspaper article Vedder read about Jeremy Wade Delle, a high school student who shot himself in front of his English class on January 8, 1991. Screaming Trees was an American rock band formed in Ellensburg, Washington, in 1984 by vocalist Mark Lanegan, guitarist Gary Lee Conner, bass player Van Conner, and drummer Mark Pickerel. Pickerel had been replaced by Barrett Martin by the time the band reached its most successful period. Although widely associated with grunge, the band's sound incorporated hard rock and psychedelic elements. The band released seven studio albums, five EPs, and three compilations. Alice in Chains (often abbreviated as AIC) is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1987 by guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney, who later recruited bassist Mike Starr and lead vocalist Layne Staley.
