Tom Boyd (Australian Footballer)
Thomas Boyd (born 22 August 1995) is a former professional Australian rules footballer. He was selected with the first overall pick in the 2013 AFL draft by the Greater Western Sydney Giants, but was traded to the Western Bulldogs following the 2014 season. In 2016 AFL Grand Final, 2016, he helped the Bulldogs win their first AFL Premiership, premiership since 1954. After struggling with injuries and mental health, Boyd retired from AFL football in May 2019. 2016 AFL Season
The 2016 AFL season was the 120th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football club based in the Melbourne suburb of Footscray. Jeremy McGovern
Jeremy Ronald McGovern (born 15 April 1992) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was a tall key-position player who spent most of his career as a defender, although he occasionally played forward. McGovern was recruited from the Claremont Football Club with the 44th pick in the 2011 Rookie Draft. He was something of a late bloomer, only making his senior debut for West Coast midway through the 2014 season (aged 22). Ryan Leigh Griffen (born 27 July 1986) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Western Bulldogs and the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL).
