Tokke is a List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is located in the Traditional districts of Norway, traditional district of Vest-Telemark. Dalen is the administrative centre of Tokke Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The village is located at the flat river delta where the river Tokke flows into the west end of the lake Bandak. The village of Eidsborg lies about north of Dalen and the village of Ã…mdals Verk lies about to the south of Dalen. The village has a population (2022) of 532 and a population density of . Telemark () is a Counties of Norway, county and a current electoral district in Norway. Telemark borders the counties of Vestfold, Buskerud, Vestland, Rogaland and Agder. LÃ¥rdal is a village in Tokke Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The village is located on the north shore of the lake Bandak and about south of the village of Høydalsmo and the European route E134 highway. Høydalsmo is a village in Tokke Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The village is located along the north shore of the lake Oftevant in the northeastern part of the municipality. The European route E134 highway runs through the village. The village area has about 300 permanent residents. Mo, Telemark
Mo is a former municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1964. The area is now part of Tokke Municipality. The administrative centre was the village of Vistad which is located just west of the present village of Dalen. History The parish of Mo was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt law). Eidsborg is a village in Tokke Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The village is located about north of the village of Dalen and the lake Bandak. The village lies in a bowl-shaped valley, surrounded by forests. The 13th-century Eidsborg Stave Church is located in the village. The village is also the site of the Vest-Telemark Museum. ''Vindlausloftet'' was built around 1167 and it was originally located on the Vindlaus farm. It is now located the museum and it is the oldest secular wooden building in Norway. Vest-Telemark () is a traditional district in Norway. The area comprises the western areas of the larger region known as Upper Telemark () in Vestfold og Telemark county. Totak is a lake in Vinje Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The lake is located in the Rauland area, about to the north of the village of Ã…mot. The lake is part of the Skien river watershed ('' Skiensvassdraget''), discharging via the river Tokke which flows into the lake Bandak to the south. At deep, Totak is the 11th deepest lake in Norway. This tremendous overdeepening marks it as a glacially formed lake with characteristics similar to a fjord.
