Toisvesi
Toisvesi is a medium-sized lake in Finland. It is situated in the municipality of Virrat in the Pirkanmaa region in western Finland. The lake is part of the Kokemäki River basin and a part of a chain of lakes that consist among others of the lakes Ähtärinjärvi, Toisvesi and Tarjanne, which in its turn drains into the Lake Ruovesi. Virrat
Virrat (; ) is a town and municipality of Finland. Part of the Pirkanmaa region, it is located north of Tampere and west of Jyväskylä. Virrat is from Helsinki. Ähtärinjärvi is a lake in Finland. It is situated in the municipalities of Ähtäri, Alajärvi (formerly Lehtimäki) and Soini in the Southern Ostrobothnia region in western Finland. The lake is part of the Kokemäenjoki basin and drains through a chain of lakes that includes among others the lakes Toisvesi and Tarjanne in the Pirkanmaa region, where the lake Tarjanne in its turn drains into the Lake Ruovesi. Pirkanmaa
Pirkanmaa (; ; ), also known as ''Tampere Region'' in government documents, is a region of Finland. It borders the regions of Satakunta, South Ostrobothnia, Central Finland, Päijät-Häme, Kanta-Häme and Southwest Finland. Kokemäki (; ) is a town and municipality in the Satakunta Region of Finland. The town has a population of () and covers an area of of which is water. The population density is . Tarjanne (also Tarjannevesi) is a medium-sized lake in Finland. It is situated in the municipalities of Ruovesi, Virrat and Mänttä-Vilppula in the Pirkanmaa region in western Finland. The lake is part of the Kokemäenjoki basin. The main inflows are the lake Vaskivesi and a chain of lakes north of it in the west and a chain of lakes from the lake Pihlajavesi in the north. Lake Ruovesi is a medium-sized lake in Central Finland. It is situated in the municipalities of Ruovesi and Mänttä-Vilppula in the Pirkanmaa region in western Finland. Besides the municipality, a local newspaper published in that municipality is also named Ruovesi. Kokemäenjoki Basin
The Kokemäenjoki ("Kokemäki River", ) is a river in southwestern Finland. Geography The river originates at Lake Liekovesi in the Pirkanmaa region, and flows to the Gulf of Bothnia at Pori in the Satakunta region. Primary tributaries of the Kokemäenjoki are the Loimijoki, Kauvatsanjoki and Harjunpäänjoki rivers.
