Todd Wessinger
Todd Kelvin Wessinger (born November 28, 1967) is an American convicted murderer sentenced to death for the murders of two restaurant employees in Louisiana. On November 19, 1995, Wessinger committed an armed robbery at a local Baton Rouge restaurant, where Wessinger used to work as a dishwasher, and during the robbery, Wessinger shot and killed two of his former co-workers, David Breakwell and Stephanie Guzzardo. Wessinger was found guilty in 1997 of two counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to death, and he is currently imprisoned on death row at the Louisiana State Penitentiary, awaiting his execution, which has yet to be scheduled. Execution Of Kenneth Eugene Smith
The execution of Kenneth Eugene Smith (July 4, 1965 – January 25, 2024) took place in the U.S. state of Alabama by nitrogen hypoxia. It was the first execution in the world to use this particular method. Smith was convicted of the March 18, 1988, contract killing of Elizabeth Sennett in Colbert County, Alabama. Charles Sennett Sr., Elizabeth's husband, recruited Billy Gray Williams to murder his wife. Williams in turn recruited Smith and John Forrest Parker to assist in the murder. Smith and Parker carried out the murder and stabbed Elizabeth Sennett to death at her home in Colbert County. A week after Elizabeth's murder, Charles Sennett Sr. killed himself when he learned he was a suspect in the murder. Gerald Bordelon
Gerald James Bordelon (February 19, 1962 – January 7, 2010) was an American convicted murderer and sex offender who was executed in Louisiana for murder. Bordelon was sentenced to death for the kidnapping and murder of Courtney LeBlanc, his 12-year-old stepdaughter. Bordelon waived his appeals and asked to be executed, saying he would commit a similar crime again if he was ever given the opportunity. Bordelon was executed at Louisiana State Penitentiary on January 7, 2010, becoming the first person executed in Louisiana since 2002 and the state's first voluntary execution.
