Titouan Perrin-Ganier (born 28 June 1991) is a French cross-country mountain biker. He specializes in the cross-country eliminator event, in which he was world champion in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. Cross-country Eliminator
Cross-country eliminator ''(XCE)'' is a Mountain bike racing, mountain bike race format in which four riders compete against each other over a very short course. In each heat, the two fastest riders get to the next round, while the two slower riders are eliminated from the race. It is similar to four-cross, except that the course is not downhill. Cross-country eliminator races have a maximum duration of 60 seconds. The format differs from the classic Cross-country cycling, cross-country race both in its sprint character and the separation of the race into heats. The track itself is similar to XC tracks, going both uphill and downhill with natural and/or artificial obstacles. 2019 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup
The 2019 Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup was a series of races in Olympic Cross-Country (XCO), Cross-Country Eliminator (XCE), and Downhill (DHI). Each discipline had an Elite Men and an Elite Women category. There were also under-23 categories in the XCO and junior categories in the DHI. The 2017 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships was the 28th edition of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. As in 2016, the championships in the various disciplines were held at separate events. The world championships in four-cross were held at Val di Sole, Italy, on 24 and 25 August 2017, alongside UCI World Cup events in cross-country and downhill. The world championships in cross-country and downhill were held in Cairns, Australia, from 5 to 10 September 2017. The UCI world championships in trials, which had been held alongside the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships since 2000, were run as part of the newly created UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in 2017.
