Tiras Nyingi Ngahu (b. 1965) was a Kenyan politician and real estate broker. He was elected to parliament in a September 2012 by-election to represent Kangema Constituency. Githiga
The Central Province (, ) was a region in central Kenya until 2013, when Kenya's provinces were replaced by a system of counties. It covered an area of and was located to the north of Nairobi and west of Mount Kenya (''see maps''). The province had 4,383,743 inhabitants according to the 2009 census. The provincial headquarters was Nyeri. Central Province was the ancestral home of the Gikuyu people. Thika High School
Thika High School is a boys-only boarding high school located in Thika District in Central Province, Kenya. Thika High School was founded in 1951, while Kenya was still a British Colony, by the Alliance of Protestant Churches and the Church of Scotland Mission (later known as the Presbyterian Church of East Africa or PCEA). Kangema is a settlement in Muranga County, Kenya. It is the birthplace of James Mwangi, the Group Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of the Equity Group Holdings Limited, the banking conglomerate with the largest customer base on the African continent, in excess of 8 million as of 2014. Kenyatta University Alumni
Jomo Kenyatta (22 August 1978) was a Kenyan anti-colonial activist and politician who governed Kenya as its Prime Minister from 1963 to 1964 and then as its first President from 1964 to his death in 1978. He played a significant role in the transformation of Kenya from a colony of the British Empire into an independent republic. Ideologically an African nationalist and a conservative, he led the Kenya African National Union (KANU) party from 1961 until his death. Kenyatta was born to Kikuyu farmers in Kiambu, British East Africa. Educated at a mission school, he worked in various jobs before becoming politically engaged through the Kikuyu Central Association.
