Tip (album)
''Tip'' is the debut studio album by Canadian rock music, rock band Finger Eleven, released in 1997. It departed from the funk-influenced sound of the 1995 album ''Letters from Chutney'' and the previous band name "Rainbow Butt Monkeys" in favor of a darker, heavier sound influenced by Tool (band), Tool. While responses to ''Tip'' were initially muted, compounded by Finger Eleven being dropped by their record label, the album was critically acclaimed and became a modest success with consumers upon its September 1998 re-release by Wind-up Records. ''Tip'' paved the way for Finger Eleven's mainstream breakthrough with ''The Greyest of Blue Skies'' in 2000. The album was certified Gold by Music Canada in 2014. Finger Eleven is a Canadian Rock music, rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 1990. They have released seven studio albums (six as Finger Eleven and one as Rainbow Butt Monkeys), with their album ''The Greyest of Blue Skies'' bringing them into the mainstream. Their 2003 Finger Eleven (album), self-titled album achieved Gold status in the United States and Platinum in Canada, largely from the success of the single "One Thing (Finger Eleven song), One Thing", which marked the band's first placing on the US Hot 100 Chart at number 16. KRXQ (98.5 FM, "98 Rock") is a commercial radio station in Sacramento, California. The station is owned by Audacy, Inc. and broadcasts a mainstream rock format. KRXQ's studios are located in North Highlands (with a Sacramento address) and its transmitter is in Folsom. ''In Music We Trust'' is a music webzine, publicity company, and record label based in Portland, Oregon. It was established as a webzine in July 1997 by Alex Steininger and his friend Ryan O'Neill. Its original goal was to help promote work by new artists. Steininger founded the website after losing his job at another online magazine, when he contacted O'Neill for his web design expertise and asked him for help. Fuel is an American Rock music, rock band from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The band was formed in 1993 by guitarist-songwriter Carl Bell (musician), Carl Bell, vocalist Brett Scallions, drummer Jody Abbott, keyboardist Erik Avakian, and bassist Jeff Abercrombie.
