Tina Enström
Tina Linnéa Enström (born 23 March 1991) is a Swedish retired ice hockey player from Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. She played forward position for the Sweden women's national ice hockey team. Playing career She played with the MODO Örnskoldsvik in the Riksserien (Sweden league elite). On June 8, 2011, it was announced that Enstrom (and Swedish national teammate Erika Grahm) would join the Bulldogs for the 2011–12 Minnesota–Duluth Bulldogs women's ice hockey season. However, she never attended UMD. International career She won the bronze medal at the 2007 Women's World Ice Hockey Championships in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Modo Hockey (or MoDo with uppercase letters) is a professional ice hockey club in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The team currently plays in Sweden's first-tier league SHL after having won promotion from HockeyAllsvenskan following the 2022/23 season. The club was founded in 1921 and has won two SHL championships; in 1979 and 2007. The team's home arena since 2006 is the Hägglunds Arena (previously known as ''Fjällräven Center'' and ''Swedbank Arena''). Before then, the team played at Kempehallen, beginning in 1964. Tobias Enström
Ulf Tobias "Toby" Enström (born 5 November 1984) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League with the Atlanta Thrashers and Winnipeg Jets. He left the NHL after 11 seasons to return and captain original Swedish club, Modo Hockey of HockeyAllsvenskan. Playing career Early career Growing up in Nordingrå, Enström played hockey in Höga Kusten Hockey but moved to Örnsköldsvik and Modo Hockey when was accepted to the Hockey high school playing for Modo J18. After two second places with Modo's J18, he advanced to Modo's J20 and later to the Elitserien team. Following a successful rookie season during his first year in Elitserien, where he was elected Rookie of the Year, he was drafted in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers in the eighth round, 239th overall. The Swedish Hockey League (officially SHL; sv, Svenska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season. In the 2010–11 season, the SHL was the world's most evenly matched professional ice hockey league.
