Tina Chen
Tina Chen (; born November 2, 1943) is a Chinese-American stage, film, and television actress, director, and producer, who starred in the films ''Alice's Restaurant'', ''Three Days of the Condor'', and ''The Hawaiians''. She has been nominated for Golden Globe, Emmy, and Drama Desk awards. Biography Born in Chongqing, Chen lived briefly in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and then went to the United States. While pursuing her acting career, Chen worked for over a decade as a researcher in the serology and genetics department at the New York Blood Center. The Pan Asian Repertory Theatre is a New York City-based theatre group that explores the Asian-American experience and provides professional opportunities for Asian-American artists to collaborate. Eastern Air Lines Flight 401 was a scheduled flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York, United States, to Miami International Airport in Miami, Florida, United States. Shortly before midnight on December 29, 1972, the Lockheed L-1011-1 TriStar crashed into the Florida Everglades. All three cockpit crew members, two of the 10 flight attendants, and 96 of the 163 passengers were killed. Seventy-five people survived, with 58 of them suffering serious injuries. The crash occurred while the entire flight crew were preoccupied with a burnt-out landing gear indicator light. The captain bumped the yoke on the aircraft, causing it to turn off the autopilot. The Mirror Theater was founded by Sabra Jones in 1983, who was also the Founding Artistic Director. The first program of the theater was the Mirror Repertory Company (MRC). Founding members of the company included Eva Le Gallienne, John Strasberg, and Geraldine Page. Sabra Jones reached out to Ellis Rabb, artistic director of the APA Phoenix Repertory Company, John Houseman of the Mercury Theater, and Eva Le Gallienne of the Civic Repertory Theatre Company.
